How we do it

Installation

The first step of your Synthesys™ journey will usually be getting the software installed on your server. At present, for many practical reasons, Synthesys™ is only delivered "on premise" and is not a cloud offering. Our specialist engineers will ensure that you have all the required infrastructure to run Synthesys™ and will then install the product for you remotely over the web.

The first step of your Synthesys™ journey will usually be getting the software installed on your server. At present, for many practical reasons, Synthesys is only delivered "on premise" and is not a cloud offering. Our specialist engineers will ensure that you have the entire required infrastructure to run Synthesys™ and will then install the product for you remotely over the web.

Synthesys™ comes in two alternative flavours. You can have either Synthesys™ Classic, which runs as a Windows application on each agent desktop or alternatively you could opt for Synthesys.NET™, which does not require a client installation as it runs completely in a browser (including the CTI, soft phone  element).

There are advantages and disadvantages for using one version over another and usually we discuss these with you prior to installation in order to understand which version would be best suited to your needs. Although, in principle both versions provide similar functionality, there are subtle differences which make the decision to opt for one or the other not an obvious one, but one that has to be based on your specific requirements.

Once we establish which version will be installed, we will provide you with a document that details all the server, networking, database and system prerequisites which would need to be in place before installation can commence. You can download these documents from this page right now.

One important thing to remember is that Noetica will require remote access to the Synthesys™ servers not only in order to install the system but also to support it after installation and on an on-going basis. Noetica currently supports a wide variety of remote access mechanisms most of which adhere to the highest security standards.

The installation itself is a relatively easy process and is usually started and finished on the same day. It is, of course, important to note that one of the major parts of any installation is the telephony element. Whether you use the Synthesys™ native telephony (utilising Aculab hardware) or you have invested in a third party PBX, we will need to configure and test the CTI elements of the system.

Our aim is to leave you with a fully functioning, CTI enabled, ready to use system. Of course, you will still need to receive our training and work with our specialists who will help you set up your first few campaigns. In most cases, there is also some form of integration work to back office systems and possibly other media such as web servers, SMS, email, etc.

Our engineers will ensure that they deliver everything in working order in accordance to a statement of work that our project manager would have agreed with you in advance of installation. You are now ready to proceed to the next step in your Synthesys™ journey.
