Patents and Partnerships, Publishing and Performing

Some remarkable things have been accomplished by people in their late 20s, perhaps none more so than Alexander Graham Bell, who in 1876 at the age of 29 was granted a US patent for his invention of the telephone. As we approach the 150th anniversary of this founding moment in the world of communications, we are proud to be continuing the pioneering spirt of innovation, with a new U.S patent of our own.

As Noetica enters its 30th year, we reflect the past 12 months and what has been one of our busiest and most successful in our history.

Let’s begin with the patent which were granted in March (coincidently the same month Alexander Graham Bell received his), for ‘Methods and Systems for Generating Logical Queries.’ This Visual Data Segmentation tool uses interactive Venn diagrams to enable Campaign Managers to create data segments quickly and easily, for better-targeted and more successful outbound outreach.

The technology has been a feature of our outbound platform for many years and recently a Chief Operating Officer of a successful contact centre business commented: “The Visual Data Segmentation tool has become business critical. It enables us to create the perfect customer for every outbound dialling list we are running.”

This latest patent joins a list of other patented innovations that many of the largest contact centre technology manufacturers are unable to include in their offering such as our approach to predictive dialling and Live Person Detection.

However, far from wanting to criticise the competition, this year Noetica has been campaigning for much closer cooperation and integration between the systems contact centres rely upon. This was evident at Contact Centre Expo in London, where the message was promoting “best of breed” synergetic solutions. Few contact centres operate with a technology stack from a single provider, so it makes sense for manufacturers to work together, rather than pretending their competition doesn’t exist.

The success of Noetica’s partnership with Talkdesk this year is testament to the power of collaboration. The tight integration between our outbound platform its AI-driven Talkdesk CX Cloud solution, has proven a big hit with contact centres around the world, operating in industries as diverse as finance and renewable energy.

This year we have also been proud to share some of the work we have done with partners to support organisations that are making a real difference to people’s lives. A great example is Food for the Poor, an international relief and development organisation that helps millions of children and families living in poverty. As a MITEL Platinum Preferred MSA Partner, our technology has now been helping to guide contact centre agents through their calls with potential donors for ten years.

Away from the office and the contact centres, the Noetica team have been busy on sideline and the stage. The team has sponsored a Burgess Hill Rugby Club’s under nine’s tournament and the girls under 13s football team at TD Shipley FC for the next two season.

Meanwhile, our very own Chief Commercial Officer, Steven Brooks, played Britpop classics with his band during a charity concert to raise money for the Sue Ryder hospice – Manorlands. Away from the floodlights and spotlights, Noetica’s Founder & Chief Product Officer, Danny Singer, could be found finishing off his first novel (spoiler alert – it is not about contact centres) which will be published next year, in good time for next Christmas gift lists!

It has been a busy but thoroughly rewarding year in the history of Noetica and we would like to thank everyone that has been a part of or journey in 2025. Looking ahead to 2026 it is set to be busier still and the team looks forward working with you.
