From Scripting for Noetica to Publishing a Novel

Danny Singer has ‘Nothing Left to Lose’

For almost 30 years Danny Singer has been helping people with their scripts, helping to create structured narratives that have supported hundreds of thousands of contact centre agents across millions of interactions with customers. Now, Danny has combined these skills with his creative flair, to write his first fiction novel which is out this week.

Titled ‘Nothing Left to Lose’, the story is set away from the world of contact centres, and tells the story of a flight that vanishes, leaving everyone assuming the worst. However, the passengers, each with their own tragic backstory, are joining a covert project called Lazurus, run by former secret services agent (you may not know Danny was himself an intelligence officer), that will give them the chance to begin again. Meanwhile, conspiracy theorists set out to prove the passengers are still alive.

Whilst the entire Noetica team is extremely proud of Danny’s achievement they are equally puzzled by how he has found the time to write a book, whilst leading the way as Chief Product Officer. It seems all those long-haul journeys to visit customers and partners, were also flights of fancy.

Anyone who has been on a Teams call with Danny will have no doubt seen the impressive library of books behind his desk, some have even questioned whether it is a virtual background – it isn’t! For the eagle-eyed amongst you, be on the lookout to spot the colourful cover of Nothing Left to Lose on the shelves.

Noetica scripts are relied upon around the world, but we all have our fingers crossed that this will be the first script from one of the team that makes it to Hollywood. Nothing Left to Lose is available now from Amazon, Blackwells, Foyles, Waterstones and may more good book shops.
